I’m a 49 year old married mother of 1, wed to a disabled angler on a mission to fish the World. He wants to find a buddy for every less able/disabled angler to help them rediscover their passion for angling. I’m the one in the background, watching him live his dreams and sharing the joy…

I love to craft and make cards, scrapbooks, altered art and more… it’s my other passion – after all, he’s my main passion… oh and then there’s DD – 12 going on 30! A source of incredible joy and equal amounts of pain; but that’s kids, isn’t it?

Luckily, we live in a tiny village in rural North Devon, where all is peace and quiet – if you avoid the neighbours!! My garden backs onto fields full of cows and I often watch the beautiful, predatory buzzards floating magnificently on high, searching for prey. At dusk, we watch the bats flutter round the garden, then head back into our roof-space where they live. We also have honey bees residing in the outer walls of the house, which can make a cuppa in the garden, on the patio, a dicey affair!

Ah well, it’s all part of life’s rich tapestry…
